Here are the current YRT/Viva fares, effective January 1, 2008.

- The Adult Monthly Pass is transferable and may be used by anyone during the month that it is valid. Mobility Plus customers use Adult fares only.
- Full-time Secondary School Students must present a valid student I.D. card with tickets and monthly passes.
- Seniors (65+) must show proof of age with tickets and monthly passes.
- Child is elementary school age or under. Children under two years old ride free.
- Passengers using GTA Passes, Monthly Passes, non-express tickets or transfers must pay a supplement of $0.50 to board YRT Express services.
GTA Weekly Pass - $47.00:
The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Weekly Pass is your best fare option if your trip involves two or more transit systems, five days a week or more. It is transferable and valid for unlimited travel on all York Region Transit / Viva, TTC, Mississauga and Brampton services. The GTA Weekly Pass is valid for one-zone YRT / Viva travel while in York Region and is valid from Monday to Sunday of the same week.

York Region’s transit services travel across three fare zones. A $1.00 cash supplement is required when travelling across each zone boundary. Please visit the Zones page for more information.
Zone Upgrade and Ride to GO tickets are available at oneRide & multiRide machines only.
The Express cash supplement is used to board an Express service with a non-Express ticket or pass.
