Dial-a-Ride
Dial-a-Ride is an on-request service for certain routes during select hours. Dial-Ride hours are different for each route and only apply during specific periods (see below). Regular routing and schedules will continue to operate outside of Dial-a-Ride hours.
To make a trip during Dial-a-Ride hours, call Dial-a-Ride at least 30 minutes in advance of your trip at 1-800-899-1621. This number is also posted at all bus stops serviced by Dial-a-Ride.
Dial-a-Ride is operated by Care Accessible, who will pick you up at your bus stop in a YRT-marked accessible van. You can request to be picked up and dropped off at any bus stop usually serviced by that route. Dial-a-Ride is not a door-to-door service so you cannot be picked up or dropped off at your home or anywhere outside of the route's service area.
Regular YRT/Viva fares apply. The Dial-a-Ride vehicle operator will issue YRT/Viva transfers upon request.
The following routes currently operate Dial-a-Ride
32 - Aurora South
Route 32 Dial-Ride is in effect:

Weekdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:40 p.m.

Saturdays from 7:50 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (all day).
To make a trip during these periods, call Dial-a-Ride 30 minutes in advance of your trip at 1-800-899-1621.
40 - Unionville Local
Route 40 Dial-a-Ride is in effect:

Weekday evenings from 8:15 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.

Saturday evenings from 8:15 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.
To make a trip during these periods, call Dial-a-Ride at least 30 minutes in advance of your trip at 1-800-899-1621.
Customers boarding at Markville Mall (bus stop #1827) do not have to call Dial-a-Ride. The accessible van will be waiting there and will depart Markville Mall every 60 minutes. The van will pick up any Route 40 customers at Markville Mall and take you to your Route 40 bus stop. If there are no customers on board and no pick-up requests, the van will return to Markville Mall and wait for the next scheduled departure.
41 - Markham Local
Route 41 Dial-a-Ride is in effect:

To make a trip during these periods, call Dial-a-Ride at least 30 minutes in advance of your trip at 1-800-899-1621.
Customers boarding at Markville Mall do not have to call Dial-a-Ride. The accessible van will be waiting there and will depart Markville Mall every 60 minutes. The van will pick up any Route 41 customers at Markville Mall and take you to your Route 41 bus stop. If there are no customers on board and no pick-up requests, the van will return to Markville Mall and wait for the next scheduled departure.
44 - Bristol-London
Route 44 Dial-a-Ride is in effect:

Customers boarding at Newmarket GO Bus Terminal and Upper Canada Mall do not have to call ahead for the Dial-a-Ride. The accessible van will be departing from these locations every 30 minutes. The van will pick up customers and take them to their Route 44 bus stop. If the van does not have any customers or calls for pickups, the van will
return to Newmarket GO Bus Terminal in time for the next scheduled departure.
52 - Holland Landing
Route 52 Dial-a-Ride is in effect:

To make a trip during these periods, call Dial-a-Ride at least 30 minutes in advance of your trip at 1-800-899-1621.
Customers boarding at Newmarket GO Bus Terminal and Upper Canada Mall do not have to call ahead for the Dial-a-Ride. The accessible van will be departing from these locations every 30 minutes. The van will pick up customers and take them to their Route 52 bus stop. If the van does not have any customers or calls for pickups, the van will
return to Newmarket GO Bus Terminal in time for the next scheduled departure.
58 - Mt. Albert
Route 44 Dial-a-Ride is in effect:

As there is only one trip operating Dial-a-Ride, customers boarding at 404 Town Centre do not have to call ahead for the Dial-a-Ride. The accessible van will be departing from this location. The van will pick up customers and take them to their Route 58 bus stop.
84 - Oak Ridges
Route 84A/C Dial-a-Ride is in effect:
