Paving work on Highway 7 East affecting YRT/Viva services

May 01, 2013

From late April to mid-June*, vivaNext construction crews will be paving Highway 7 East between Bayview Avenue and East Beaver Creek Road. This work will be completed in sections; paving will begin in the centre of the road, which will allow motorists to drive in the centre lanes when the north and south sides of Highway 7 are being paved. Crews will be working 24-7 as weather permits. See the map below for closure locations and dates.

As a result of the construction, some YRT/Viva services will be redirected and bus stops will be relocated. Detour and wayfinding signs will be in place to redirect motorists and pedestrians. YRT/Viva services travelling through the construction area may also be impacted.

The following YRT/Viva services will follow detours during construction:

  • 90 - Leslie
